You will be able to earn continuing education contact hours and meet mandatory requirements for license renewal. The state of California requires 48 hours of in-service training for CNA’s to meet continuing education requirements for renewal of certification. The State requires certification renewal every two years. All nursing assistants must complete a minimum of 12 hours in-service training in each year of the renewal period.
